How can publishing in the Nature Portfolio benefit researchers, funding, and policy?
This 1-hour webinar will provide librarians, research managers, faculty, and researchers, with insights into the publication process of a Nature Portfolio journal – as well as the impact that publishing with the Nature Portfolio can have on an author.
As of this January 2023, authors from 70 low-income and lower-middle-income countries are able to publish for free in Nature and the Nature research journals. This move recognizes that local funding isn’t always available for publishing OA in impactful journals like Nature. But what is the author experience like for those publishing an article in a Nature Portfolio journal? And what impact can a Nature Portfolio publication have on the author’s career, or on policy or funding?
