First in-person workshops in China since 2019 and a NPS of 100!

Nature Masterclasses trainer-led workshops1 December 2019. What we didn’t know back then was that this would be our last in-person workshop in China for over 3 years.

Fast forward to June 2023, and we are thrilled to be back conducting our first Nature Masterclasses in-person, trainer-led workshops in China since the pandemic!

Oncologists came from all over China to attend two 1-day workshops on ‘Getting Published: Effectively Communicating Your Research’. With 20-30 participants at each workshop, it was very interactive.

And the feedback was amazing! Our net promoter score (NPS) for the first workshop was 92.6, and our NPS for the second workshop was 100.

Often held up as the gold standard for measuring customer experience, NPS is based on one simple question:

How likely is it that you would recommend Product X to a friend or colleague?

Respondents give a rating between 0 (not at all likely) and 10 (extremely likely).

  • Promoters respond with a score of 9 or 10 and are typically loyal customers.
  • Passives respond with a score of 7 or 8 and are satisfied with your service but not happy enough to be considered promoters.
  • Detractors respond with a score of 0 to 6. These unhappy customers are unlikely to buy from you again and may even discourage others from buying from you.

To calculate your NPS, subtract as follows:

NPS = percentage of promoters – percentage of detractors

So we’re over the moon with our NPS of 100, meaning 100% of the second workshop attendees were happy customers! (NPS of 100 = 100% – 0%).
